Cocoa exports from Cameroon's Douala port hit 85,193 tonnes by on December 19 since the start of the season in August, according to official statistics obtained by Reuters on Tuesday. The statistics from the world's fifth-largest cocoa grower showed that the volume exported included 8,340 tonnes for the week ended December 19, down from 8,730 tonnes the previous week.
The average price at the port for the week rose slightly to 1,390 CFA francs per kilogram ($2.79) from 1,350 CFA.
