Two people were killed in separate incidents in the city here on Tuesday. A young man, Abdul Warism, 20, son of Shah Muhammad was killed by his cousin over a family dispute in Nazimabad. According to Shamim Shaeed police, the victim was killed over a marriage dispute by his relative, who came from Buner. He said that the victim had fled Buner to Karachi to save his life.
The victim was working in a factory and on Tuesday an unidentified person called him asking to return home. As he returned, his cousin opened fire on him and killed him, he added. No case has been registered yet. In another incident, a man was kidnapped and killed by unknown armed men over a land dispute in Jumma Goth, Ibrahim Haidri on Tuesday.
Ibrahim Haidri police said that the victim was missing from Monday and on Tuesday, the police received a call about presence of a human body near Jumma Goth. Police shifted the body to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for autopsy where he was identified as Nazir, 33, son of Ismail, resident of Ali Akbar Goth. According to the heirs of victim, he had a dispute with someone over a piece of land. FIR has been registered in Ibrahim Haidri Police Station against unknown person on complaint of his wife.
