ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has expressed his deep sorrow and sympathies on the loss of lives of 12 persons in a road accident between van and truck near Vehari on Saturday.
Prime Minister Gilani expressing his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved families conveyed sincere sympathies with them on this unfortunate incident.
The Prime Minister prayed to Allah Almighty to give courage and patience to the victims' families to bear this immense loss with equanimity.
He also directed the concerned authorities to investigate the accident and ensure that such incidents should not be happened in future.
The Prime Minister also directed the concerned hospital authorities to provide best possible treatment to the injured admitted in the hospital.
The accident occurred near Tiba Sultan Pur on Multan-Vehari Road and 12 passengers, including four children, died instantly when the CNG cylinder of the van exploded after the accident. Seven injured were shifted to Nishtar Hospital Multan.
