SHANGHAI: China's main stock index closed up 0.3 percent on Wednesday, snapping three days of losses in thin volume reflecting lingering worries ahead of a pivotal euro zone leaders' summit and upcoming inflation data later this week.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index finished at 2,332.7 points, after falling 0.3 percent to a six-week low on Tuesday.
