SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were flat in morning trade Wednesday as investors stayed on the sidelines due to uncertainty over the slowing domestic economy and the pace of monetary easing, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was down 0.11 percent, or 2.56 points, at 2,323.35.
