HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares fell 1.51 percent in the morning session on Tuesday after Standard & Poor's put all but two eurozone nations on watch for a possible downgrade.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index shed 289.93 points to 18,889.76 on turnover of HK$24.03 billion ($3.09 billion).
