Soymeal little changed in thin trade: European feeds
AMSTERDAM: Soymeal on the European meals and feeds market was little changed in thin trade on Monday as dealers looked for direction from the US Department of Agriculture report due on Friday and the euro zone summit on Dec. 8-9, traders said.
"It was a quiet day, we are moving towards the holiday season," one trader said.
"There is a lot of uncertainty. Everyone will be looking for USDA report and the outcome of the euro zone summit for guidance."
South American soymeal was offered between $1 and $2 per tonne up from Friday, mostly following the trend in CBOT soymeal futures. Bids were scarce and no deals were reported.
Most other products were quoted flat to a little easier on slack demand and weak rapeseed futures.
