Govt to complete labour department schemes

LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Labour Haji Ehsaan-ud-Din Qureshi has said the government will provide required funds for the completion of ongoing development projects launched by the labour department.

Talking to delegations of workers, Haji Ehsaan-ud-Din Qureshi said that new welfare schemes would also be initiated especially for the provision of modern education to children of labourers and residential facilities to them.

He said free education including books, stationery, transport and uniform were also being provided to 28,000 children of workers in 46 workers welfare schools of the province.
