LONDON: Europe's main stock markets rallied at the start of trading Friday, ahead of key US jobs figures later in the day, with London's FTSE 100 index jumping 1.31 percent to 5,561.13 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 gained 1.36 percent to 6,117.73 points and in Paris the CAC 40 added 1.19 percent to stand at 3,167.31.
