CHAMAN: As if the Pakistan-US relations were not strained already over NATO’s cross-border attack over the weekend which killed a dozen Pakistan troops, NATO forces have killed two Pakistani men in Afghanistan on Thursday, Pakistani border officials said.
The move will likely inflame tensions after the attack on the Salala checkpost killed 24 Pakistani army personnel over the weekend.
The officials said the two men, who were from the town of Chagai in Balochistan, were gathering wood 30 km (18.6 miles) inside Afghanistan.
NATO officials were not available for comment immediately.
