An effective movement for the formation of Saraiki province would be launched in coming future, as legal experts are being consulted to approach Supreme Court for this purpose. These views were expressed by Federal Minister for Defence Production, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan Jatoi while talking to media personnel here on Saturday. Qayyum Jatoi said that this region was being neglected for the last six decades and all the sources are being used in upper Punjab.
But now a wave of happiness has run among the people since they have heard about the formation of Saraiki province because this would benefit their future generations. To a question, Jatoi said that Saraiki Convention would be held in August and also Saraiki Conference in which the future strategy would be formed. 'Movement would be initiated as soon the circumstances were favourable,' he added. He criticised the ongoing system of the country and said that no system had fixed its root and there are no solid policies.
