RECORDER REPORT: PSX, BRIndex-30 update

KARACHI: Monday 17, July 2017 until 12:17, BRIndex 30 was at 23,159.35 with a positive change of 26.76 and volume of 24,113,000 shares.

High and low were 23,303.30 and 23,045.31 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 34,134,240 shares with 30 total traded companies out of which 14 were up. 14 were down and 2 were unchanged.

Engineering was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 4,302,400 shares. It was followed by Power Generation and Distribution with a total traded volume of 3,860,200 shares.

The three top traded companies were K-Electric Limited with a volume of 3,209,000 and price per share of 6.62 (0.03), Dewan Farooque Motors Limited with a volume of 3,149,500 and price per share of 37.17 (1.06), Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited with a volume of 2,524,500 and price per share of 34 (0.47).

The top three advancers were Indus Motor Company Limited with a volume of 95,360 and price per share of 1,689 (33.45), Mari Petroleum Company Limited with a volume of 4,440 and price per share of 1,509 (31.76), Shezan International Limited with a volume of 100 and price per share of 465 (21.36).
