HOUSTON: Royal Dutch Shell Plc plans to restart the heavy oil hydrocracking unit (HCU) at its 235,000 barrel per day (bpd) Convent, Louisiana, refinery on Tuesday night, said sources familiar with plant operations.

A Shell spokesman said operations at the Convent refinery were stable on Tuesday but declined to discuss the status of specific units.
