Acting President of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has said that the military does not like unity of politicians at national level.
In an interview with a private TV channel he said the politicians always dealt the military rulers with softness. After the nuclear test, Pervez Musharraf had said that Nawaz Sharif has done a great favour to the Army but only after four months he toppled his government.
To a question Javed Hashmi said whenever the politicians joined their hands and emerged as a force to do something for the country the military intervened and disrupted all the important developments towards democracy. The people's rights had always been snatched in the past. The constitutions of 1956, 1962 and 1973 were dismissed, he added.
