Embassy of Pakistan at Tokyo held a children painting exhibition in collaboration with the Asian Cultural Exchange Association on Saturday at Takanawa Community Center, Japan. The Asian Cultural Exchange Association has been regularly holding such children's painting exhibitions in Pakistan and Japan for the last three years.
Pakistani and Japanese children have put as many as 150 paintings at display in exhibition. Ambassador Kamran Niaz appreciated the Asian Cultural Exchange Association for their commitment and hard work in establishing art and cultural linkages between Pakistan and Japan.
"Empathy among nations is a fine recipe for universal peace and friendship and the Asian Cultural Exchange Association is doing a fine job to realise this noble goal through its sincere efforts', Ambassador observed.
He hoped that joint artwork exhibitions would help in promoting understanding between the youth of both the countries. "The aim of these exhibitions is to introduce children of both the countries to each other's varying priorities, preoccupations and perceptions through artwork", he added.
