The kidnapped military official of cadet college has been recovered by Wozi Khel tribe of North Waziristan Agency. Captain Faisal Islam, Adjutant, Cadet College, Razmak, was kidnapped on Friday morning in the Razmak subdivision of North Waziristan Agency on his way to Bannu from Razmak.
After the incident, the respective tribe constituted traditional 'Chagha' party, which chased the kidnappers. As a result of crossfiring between the kidnappers and the tribesmen all four kidnappers, who were criminal, were killed, whereas two tribesmen of the Chagha party also lost life.
Four persons, including the kidnapped Captain Faisal Islam and tribesmen Jan Faraz, Mehraban and Hukam sustained injuries and were admitted in hospital. The incident occurred on main Miran Shah Razmak road near Nariwala.
NWFP Governor Ali Muhammad Jan Aurakzai has appreciated the prompt and immediate response of Wozi Khel tribe on the kidnapping incident in their territorial jurisdiction and announced cash compensation of Rs 0.5 million each for the heirs of the two deceased tribesmen namely Asadullah and Gul Daraz and Rs 0.2 million for each injured tribesmen Jan Faraz, Mehraban and Hukam. The Governor also announced cash prize of Rs 0.3 million for the Chagha party, headed by Jan Faraz.
