All advertisers, owners of advertisement boards and building owners in the jurisdiction of Faisalabad City District Government have been asked, through a Notice, by the City District Nazim, Zahid Tauseef to ensure strengthening of the foundations and structure of their boards etc within 7 days, it was announced here on Wednesday by EDO, Municipal Services, Muhammad Ashraf.
The EDO said that these directions had been issued to avoid the threat of loss to property or human lives due to the boards uprooted in the event of likely storms and unprecedented winds, rains etc.
He said that warning has also been issued that those failing to comply with these instructions will be held responsible for the loss caused due to falling or uprooting of advertisement boards and will be proceeded against in accordance with the law by the City District Government.
