Iron sheets can be imported from India up to December

The government has decided to further amend Import Policy Order, 2006, allowing import of iron sheets from India via land route for exclusive use in earthquake affected areas up to December instead of March.
This amendment has been made in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 3 of the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, 1950 (XXXIX of 1950). The amendment has been made in paragraph 16, under heading ''B'', clause (viii), in the second proviso, for the word ''March'' the word ''December'' shall be substituted.
In the aforesaid order, in paragraph 16, under heading ''B'', clause (viii), in the second proviso, for the word ''March'' the word ''December'' shall be substituted.
