Bears handed over the floor to the bulls at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where fresh buying spree in hot favourites moved the entire ready-board in upward direction amid increase in index. ISE-10 Index showed an increase of 9.07 points as the index moved from 2,722.93 to 2,732.00 points.
The overall turnover stood at 2,716,200 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,656,500 shares. The horizon of trade expanded from 139 stocks to 155 companies. Majority of stocks (113) closed in positive territory, 41 closed in negative zone, whereas one company remained glued to its overnight level.
The turnover of Bank of Punjab was 466,400 shares. The volume of DG Khan Cement was 226,200 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,256,500 shares. The volume of Arif Habib Securities was 213,500 shares.
