Rising trend was again witnessed on the grain market on Monday as main suppliers were trying to hoard the commodities to gain more profits during the month of Ramazan, dealers said. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type picked up Rs 30 to Rs 1620 and better type rose by Rs 40 to Rs 1650, they said.
Irri white followed same pattern and picked up Rs 25 to Rs 1375-1400, they added. On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag low type did not depict any change at Rs 400 while the good quality shed Rs 40 to Rs 560 in process of trading, they said. On the cereals side, wheat old and new Bardan rose by Rs five to Rs 1200-1215, other commodities maintained their weekend's levels, they said.
