LAHORE: Promotion of sports activities like holding of PSL-final are the best way to remove fear of terror from the society.
Former Judge of Lahore High Court Hafiz Abdul Rehman Ansari said this while talking to APP here on Sunday.
He said that enemies of Pakistan were striking against the country by using psychological warfare.
"Promotion of sports activities are among the best way to counter the psychological warfare and promote soft image of Pakistan", he said.
He said the PSL-final like mega event would also help in rejecting negative prepeganda against Pakistan.
Ansari who is also Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan and former Vice Chairman Pakistan Bar Council said that lawyers community fully support the government for arrangements of such sports events.
He said that political leaders like Jammat Islami Amir Siraj ul haq, who were attending PSL also deserve appreciation for their positive role in this regard.
Ansari said that Pakistanis were peace loving and sports loving nation.
He said, "It is right of our children to take part in sports activities without any fear and all of us are dutybound to play role in the promotion of sports in the country".
