imageISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Tuesday said several leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are ready to join his party ranks and are making underhand contacts for the purpose in the wake of Panamagate scandal.

Talking to reporters outside the Supreme Court after the court concluded todays hearing of landmark Panamagate scandal case, the PTI chief questioned how the country could progress when the finance minister had been laundering money for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

He also deplored that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) did not assist the court.

It is now proved that the FBR chief is also corrupt, Khan said, adding that the NAB was coming up with excuses to protect the prime ministers corruption.

The PM should be exemplary but Nawaz Sharif is not habituated to a neutral umpire, Imran Khan said. However, the time has changed, he added and advised the PML-N not to go for any venture against the judiciary.

Imran Khan, whose party rules the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, gave Charsadda police a pat on the back for effective damage control after they neutralized three suicide bombers when attacked the sessions court, killing at least seven people and injuring 15 others.

He, however, expressed grief over loss of human lives in the Charsadda court attack.
