RECORDER REPORT-PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Tuesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 48930.25 with a positive change of 1.13 and volume of 58,260,550 shares.

High and Low were 49049.62 and 48655.92 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 168,918,390 shares with 349 total traded companies out of which 155 were up, 182 were down and 12 were unchanged.

CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 40,259,750 shares. It was followed by POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION with a total traded volume of 26,634,400 shares.

The three top traded companies were K-Electric Ltd. with a volume of 24,856,000 and price per share of 9.80 (0.02), Dewan Cement with a volume 10,736,000 of price per share of 33.67 ( 0.76), Shabbir Tiles with a volume 10,633,000 of price per share of 15.48 (1.00).

The top three advancers were Bestway Cement with price per share 303.32 (14.44), Jubile Life Ins with price per share of 699.00 (12.39) and Shell Pakistan share of 620.00 (9.33).

The top three decliners were Colgate PalmoliveXD with price per share of 1900.00 (100.00), Rafhan Maize with price per share of 7900.00 (88.33) and Unilever Foods per share of 5800.00 (50.00).
