imageEngland ODI skipper Eoin Morgan has announced his departure from the second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL). Morgan, who was representing Peshawar Zalmi, would now join his England squad for the series against West Indies.

Morgan, who has played six games in the PSL II, represented Zalmi for one last time against the Karachi Kings on Sunday. Zalmi lost the game after a nail-biter contest at Sharjah.

Englands limited overs skipper said he enjoyed the tournament and had a great time with the players and staff.

"My experience in the PSL this year has been amazing, I like to thank everybody at Peshawar Zalmi," stated Eoin Morgan in a video message.

"The coach and the backroom staff, Mohammad Akram and his staff have been outstanding. The chairman has been very welcoming as well, so I would like to thank him. And all the fans who have supported us throughout the fans so far, so thank you all," he added.

Before his announcement, Morgan informed that his Zalmi kit would be gifted to the young patients of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital.

"After tonight's game all of my kit is on its way to these brave young kids of @SKMCH I hope you enjoy. Everyone at @PeshawarZalmi loves you," he tweeted.
