Sindh Governor condemns Lahore blast

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair has expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in a suicide blast in Lahore.

The Governor, in a statement, condemned the incident, and said the government with the public support would eliminate the terrorists who targeted innocent people.

He noted that terrorists are against the development and prosperity of the country and try to create fear through such acts of terrorism, but, he added, "We would not let their nefarious designs succeed at any cost."

The Governor prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant fortitude to bereaved families. He also prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
