Central leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and former city nazim Karachi Naimatullah Khan Advocate has said that the JI wanted change of system and not of faces, as it was making hectic efforts to impose Nizam-e-Mustafa.
He said this while addressing a public meeting here. Naimat said that rulers had delivered nothing to masses but hollow slogans. The JI leader said that their performance in the past was not hidden from anyone, as they rendered lot of services for the welfare of masses.
He said that the present rulers wanted to impose Western culture in the country that was why they were boosting vulgarity in the name of enlightened moderation.
He said that people also needed to struggle to get rid of the present rulers. He said that during his tenure as city nazim Karachi, he pulled out Karachi from darkness and made it 'the city of lights' once again by carrying out a record development work. JI leaders Amir Khaleel Khoso, Syed Hussain Ali Shah and Zaffar Iqbal also spoke on the occasion.
