Qalandars draw first blood at PSL
DUBAI: Lahore Qalandars opened their PSL account on Saturday, claiming their first victory over Islamabad United by six wickets after chasing the target of 158 in 18.2 overs.
The Qalandars once again enjoyed a blistering start, scoring 38 for first wicket partnership in 2.3 overs, before Brendon McCullum was caught by Bilings at 25 on Rumman Raees delivery.

Jason Roy and Umar Akmal then steadied the Qalandars ship, culminating a partnership of 71 runs.
Roy was the top scorer for his side with a not out inning of 60 runs.
Mohammad Sami, Rumman Raees, Shane Watson and Saeed Ajmal picked one wicket a piece.
Earlier, Islamabad United posted 158 for the lost of five wickets against Lahore Qalandars.Skipper Misbah was the top scorer for United with 61, Sam Billings 37 and Dwayne Smith 31.
Among Qalandars Grant Elliott was the pick of the bowlers grabbing four wickets, the New Zealander claimed openers Dwayne Smith, Sam Billings and the dangerous Brad Haddin and Shane Watson in his bowling spell.
Sohail Tanvir and Sunil Narine picked up one wicket each.
