Six suspected terrorists killed in police encounter

imageKARACHI: Six suspected terrorists were killed in an encounter with police at Super Highway near Baqai Hospital, here on Thursday, the police said.

The terrorists were killed after an exchange of fire with a police team which led by SSP Malir Rao Anwar reached there on a tip off about the presence of terrorists.

SSP Malir Rao Anwar told the media that the suspects belonged to a proscribed outfit and they were involved in various terrorism and target killing incidents.

The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico- legal formalities.
