imagePESHAWAR: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Saleem Shahzad has no place in Pak Sarzameeen Party (PSP), said PSP chairman Mustafa Kamal on Tuesday.

Talking to the media in Peshawar, Kamal said that Saleem Shahzad had not returned to Pakistan to join PSP.

Kamal clarified that there are some people who have no place in his party. I do not like taking names but since Saleem Shahzads name have propped up time and again, I am left with no option but to come out clear about him, he added.

He blamed Indian spy agency RAW for subversive activities in metropolis from the last 22 years. Investigation from the Scotland Yard also endorses this, he asserted.

He added that the fight in Karachi had reached its next level but despite political differences they will only engage in debate and not violence.

Saleem Shahzad, a founding member of the now-defunct MQM, had been living in London since 1992. However, he visited Pakistan three times during this period.

Shahzad reached Karachi from Dubai on Monday morning where he was arrested by police officials. Senior Superintendent Police Malir Rao Anwar. His passport has been confiscated by immigration officials. Later, Shahzad was shifted to Gadap Police station.
