RECORDER REPORT-PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 48981.49 with a positive change of 267.86 and volume of 67,216,770 shares.

High and Low were 49020.22 and 48713.63 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 193,569,940 shares with 349 total traded companies out of which 207 were up, 129 were down and 13 were unchanged.

ENGINEERING was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 63,124,100 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 19,777,900 shares.

The three top traded companies were Dost Steels Ltd. with a volume of 31,580,000 and price per share of 14.28 (1.00), Aisha Steel Mill with a volume 22,763,500 of price per share of 18.70 (0.99), JS Bank Ltd with a volume 6,175,500 of price per share of 11.09 (0.58).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share 5050.00 (151.00), ICI Pakistan with price per share of 1038.13 (49.43) and Bhanero Tex. share of 758.10 (36.10).

The top three decliners were Unilever Foods with price per share of 5630.00 (270.00), Bata (Pak) with price per share of 4200.00 (100.00) and J.D.W.Sugar per share of 524.00 (20.00).
