KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Monday submitted its replies in the Sindh High Court (SHC) against Pir Mazhar ul Haq, the former provincial education minister, and others for their alleged involvement in 13,000 illegal appointments in Sindh education department.
A two-judge bench headed by Mr. Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto heard the petitions filed by Pir Mazhar ul Haq and others against an enquiry being carried out by the NAB and pertaining to bails.
The NAB's special prosecutor submitted replies against the petitioners.
He informed the court that an investigation against the petitioners was under way for illegally recruiting 13,000 people in the education department during the tenure of Pir Mazhar ul Haq as minister.
While, the petitioners termed NAB's claims as malicious.
