Three day anti-polio drive to start from 23rd

MULTAN: National Immunization Day (NID) anti-polio drive for children upto five years age in 131 union councils of the district will commence from November 23.

An official source said on Monday that over 800,000 children would be vaccinated during the three-day campaign.

As many as 2069 teams including 1731 mobile teams of the Health department would take part in the campaign; he said and added that the teams would go door-to-door for vaccination.

He informed that a catch up would also be conducted for two days after the three days campaign.
