Turkish President arrives in Lahore

LAHORE: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived here on Thursday evening from Islamabad.

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif accorded a warm welcome to Turkish President at the Allama Iqbal International Airport. Members of the provincial cabinet and senior civil officers were also present on the occasion.

Two children clad in traditional costumes presented a bouquet to the dignitary.

The Turkish president will inaugurate greater Allama Iqbal Park and attend a dinner at Hazoori Bagh, Lahore Fort.
