COAS, Turkish CGS discuss regional security, ways to enhance mutual cooperation

RAWALPINDI: Turkish Chief of General Staff (CGS), General Hulusi Akar, who is accompanying Turkish President during his visit to Pakistan, on Wednesday called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif.

During the meeting held at Islamabad, matters of mutual interest including military to military relations, regional security situation and measures to further enhance defense cooperation between both countries were discussed, an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release here said.
