Terror bid foiled in Mekran

imageQUETTA: Frontier Corps Balochistan has foiled a terror bid by defusing improvised explosive device in Mand area of Mekran division on Wednesday.

A spokesman for FC said here that unknown men had planted IED on roadside near Mand to carry out act of terrorism. "Following intelligence, the FC personnel rushed to the scene and defused the IED," he said.

A search operation has been launched by FC in the area. Further probe was underway.
