Pakistan is all set to cement its legacy in the test circuit, as it expects to dominate against New Zealand and Australia in a much awaited tour Down Under.
Pakistan would play its first Test match against New Zealand on Thursday in Christchurch, the series is being labeled as the litmus test for Pakistani players eager to stamp there authority in Test cricket.
Similar views were expressed by Pakistan’s former fast bowler and cricketing legend Waseem Akram who stated that the performance in New Zealand will show the real mettle of Pakistan’s cricket team, while talking to media here after a seminar on diabetes awareness in Allama Iqbal Medical College, reported local media.
The pitches are difficult and playing conditions are different in New Zealand, said the master of swing bowling.
The two Test match tour would begin on Nov 17th with the first Test match at Christchurch and the second Test match to be played in Hamilton on Nov 25th.
