PESHAWAR: Over 900 Temporary Displaced Persons (TDPs) from Lower Orakzai Agency were shifted by Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to their native areas to their native areas on Tuesday.
The displaced families belonged to Bizote, Utman khel and Feroz khel tribes and were carried to their native areas Adanna khulla, Ublan, Sara Mela and Pito Mela respectively.
The FC established a registration and embarkation point at Chaman Janna in collaboration with Orakzai Scouts where full-fledged facilities were provided to the returning families, said an official of FC KP, adding that after verification and registration of more than nine hundred (900) families, they were returned to their respective villages.
The FC official said that efforts would continue to assist in rehabilitation process so that the returning families could live without any difficulty and peacefully and contribute towards the development and prosperity of the motherland.
