MOSCOW: Russian gross domestic product contracted by 0.4 percent in the third quarter in year-on-year terms, the statistics service said on Monday, citing preliminary data.
That compares with a yearly GDP contraction of 0.6 percent in the second quarter and adds to evidence that the Russian economy is only gradually emerging from a deep slump.
