Indian actress Rekha found dead in her apartment

Popular regional film and TV actress Rekha Mohan was found dead in her apartment on Saturday. The 45-year-old actor was staying alone in her flat as her businessman husband lives abroad.

According to Indian media reports, Rekha’s husband, after not being able to get in touch with her for the last two days, contacted the police to look at the situation. The report also suggested that when police broke into her apartment, which was said to be locked from inside, they found the deceased body of Rekha.

Police suspect that her death might have occurred by last Monday. That day, she had lunch, which she ordered from outside, and was not seen by any one since then. Only a postmortem will reveal the exact cause of her death, police said.
