The long awaited Hazara Express train is being launched on 15th February 2006 for which reservation offices, have been recently opened in some towns and cities of entire Hazara region and they would start reservations by 1st February 2006.
These information were given by Managing Director Pakistan Railway Advisory and Consultancy Service (Pracs) Muhammad Ishfaq Khattak and Joint Director (JD) Marketing and General Service Muhammad Saleem while talking to Deputy Director Information Abbottabad, Muhammad Tayyab on Friday at Abbottabad.
The Pracs chief said that the train will ply between Havelian and Karachi having 15 bogies and will consist of economy class. He told that he along with above-mentioned officers had visited Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram and Balakot and opened reservation offices there.
He said the Tehsil Nazim Battagram has extended wholehearted help in the establishment of office at his district and has also termed the starting of Hazara Express a milestone for the entire region, including AJK and Northern areas as well.
While terming the incentives and facilities unmatching and unprecedented being offered by the Pracs, the MD and JD were of the view that all sort of meal would be provided on no profit no loss basis and quake hit affected passengers would be given one first meal free of charges.
