imageRepresentation is something when someone presents him or her on the behalf of something. A daughter of Pakistani mother and a British father, Lianna swan is representing Pakistan as a swimmer, who holds 11 national records, seven individual records and three relay records. She expressed that she is very happy to represent Pakistan in Rio Olympics 2016

According to local Khaleej Times, the 19-year-old Jumeirah College alumnus said she has pumped every last ounce of energy into preparing for her upcoming race - the 50m women's freestyle. Speaking to Khaleej Times from the Athletes Village in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Wednesday, Swan remained every bit the humble sportswoman.

“It was difficult to choose in the beginning, but after discussing with the coach and my parents, I decide to go for Pakistan as I would get a lot more out of being a part of the Pakistan team, since there’s a lot more people trying for the Great Britain team,” “I’m very happy to represent Pakistan and hopefully I can go as far as I can with them,”

"She has proved herself to be Pakistan's best female swimmer," her mother Nadia said.

Before her entry into the Olympics, she competed in many heavyweight competitions including the Commonwealth Games in Scotland in 2014. She is a dual national of both the UK and Pakistan, but chose to represent Pakistan in her sporting career. Pakistan’s Dubai-based swimmer Lianna Swan will compete in the 50m freestyle competitions on Friday (tomorrow).
