Two NATO oil tankers torched

SIBBI: Unknown armed men set ablaze two NATO oil tankers on National Highway near Bala Nari area of Bolan district on Sunday.

According to the police, Afghanistan-bound two oil tankers carrying fuel for NATO forces from Karachi were on way when armed men riding a motorbike intercepted and set them ablaze.

Both oil tankers were incinerated. Police and fire brigade personnel reached the site and extinguished the fire.

However, no loss of life was reported. Police registered a case and started efforts to trace out the suspects.
