imageLONDON: Gulf OPEC members including Saudi Arabia are looking to revive the idea of coordinated oil-output action by major producers when the group meets on Thursday, a senior OPEC source said, but Iran signalled the country was not ready for any such pact.

A 14-day strike at refineries in France is causing significant losses for oil and gas major Total, an internal company note seen by Reuters on Wednesday said, and could put at risk plans to invest and turn around loss-making plants.

The Niger Delta Avengers claimed another attack on Wednesday on two Chevron oil wells in Nigeria, marking the second such attack on the company's facilities in a week.

ANGOLA

Statoil sold an end-June cargo of Pazflor while Angola's state firm Sonangol sold a cargo of Saxi for July 24-25 loading.

NIGERIA

Trade of Nigerian cargoes was slow, with offer levels deemed too high.

The shutdown of most of Total's French refineries due to strike action has created a glut of light sweet crude in Europe.

Qua Iboe was still being shown at dated Brent plus $1.80 a barrel and Chevron offered a cargo of Brass River at the same level loading on July 1-2.

June loading Bonga and Bonny Light were still on offer.
