ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee on Sunday issued price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets are as follows:
Potato Rs 23, Onion Rs 31, Tomato Rs 22, Ginger Rs 76, Garlic (Desi) Rs 140, Garlic Rs 145, Lemon Desi Rs 224, Lady Finger Rs 48, Pumpkin Rs.34, Peas Rs 60, Farsh Bean Rs.54, Tanda Walaiti Rs 44, Cucumber Rs 34, Capsicum Rs 28/24, Green Chilli Rs 40, Cauliflower Rs. 64/45, Cabbage Rs.24, Bitter gourd Rs.34, Spinach Rs.18/14, Raddish Rs.24/20, Turnip Rs.44, Maroo Rs.20, Yam Rs.74, Carrot Rs.28/24, Chicken Rs.172, Egg per dozen Rs. 70.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Irani Rs.140/110, Apple White 100/80, Apple Ambri 100/80, Banana Pak Rs.110/120, Banana India, Rs.160/130, Pear China Rs.150/140,Orange kino special 155/130, Melon Rs 35/40, Watermelon Rs 35/40, Mango Sundari Rs 125/100, Mango Almas RS 100/90.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
