ISLAMABAD: Six more people fell prey to dengue virus in Lahore and as a result the death toll reached 68 so far on Thursday.
According to a private TV channel, the number of dengue patients is being increased in Multan, Faisalabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Two patients, Zahid, 37, resident of Rajgarh and Mohammed Saleem, 55, from Outfall Road, died in Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore. Nasreen Fatima, 30, resident of Upper Mall died due to dwindling count of platelets in Meo Hospital.
