LONDON: Europe's main stock markets rose at the start of trading on Friday, following another round of gains in most of Asia and overnight on Wall Street.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index rose almost 0.1 percent to 6,206.07 points compared with Thursday's close.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index added more than 0.1 percent to 9,905.67 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.2 percent to 4,452.04.
