BUCHAREST: Romania sold a more than planned 275 million euros ($301.46 million) worth of domestic bonds due February 2021 at an average accepted yield of 1.0 percent, central bank data showed on Thursday.
Debt managers, who had planned to sell 250 million euros, first sold the five-year euro-denominated issue in February at the same average yield.
On Thursday, bids totalled 329 million euros. So far this year, the finance ministry has sold just under 11 billion lei worth of domestic debt and has tapped 1.25 billion euros from foreign markets.
