KARACHI: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, paid glowing tributes to party leader and MPA Shaheed Abdullah Murad on his 12th death anniversary that was observed in Malir on Sunday.
In a message on the occasion, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Shaheed Abdullah Murad was a brave Jiyala who struggled for democracy for his whole life and ultimately sacrificed his life, said a Bilawal House Media Cell statement here.
He said that Abdullah Murad remained in the forefront of the movements launched by the PPP for the restoration of democracy and people's rights and never looked back despite receiving threats from terrorists and armed gangs.
The PPP Chairman said that from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to Shaheed Abdullah Murad, the party leadership and workers have always been sacrificing for the country and restoration of democracy.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari further said that PPP leadership and workers never forgot martyred colleagues.
