HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares finished the morning session 2.17 percent lower on Monday, as markets around the region fell on poor jobs data from the United States.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index shed 437.9 points to 19,775.01 on turnover of HK$27.01 billion ($3.47 billion).
