prime-ministerCANBERRA: Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard said on Friday she was neither considering quitting nor reshuffling her cabinet after a court scuttled her plan to send asylum-seekers to Malaysia.

She was speaking to Sky TV in an interview, when asked about after media speculation that some lawmakers in her own Labor party were beginning to lose faith in her. Senior government factional leaders threw their support behind Gillard on Friday.
